Some CGC briefs ask you to buy a product (or a few) to bring your content to life. If yours does, don't worry about the cost, briefs with a reimbursement budget come with a fixed amount set upfront, and that gets added straight to your payout. Just buy what you need, create your content, and it's all sorted in one payment.
â Good to know: Not every brief includes a reimbursement amount, so check your brief details to see if yours does.
A few things worth knowing about how the amount works:
It's subject to exchange rates at the time of payment, so the exact figure can shift slightly.
It only applies where a purchase has actually been agreed, if you already own the product, or we've let you know otherwise, it won't be included.
What if something doesn't add up with my reimbursement?
Budgets are set per brief, so occasionally the numbers won't quite line up, or something unexpected comes up. If that happens, email community@vidsy.co with the brief name and we'll take it from there.
