What happens after I've submitted?

Submission complete… now what? 🤔

You’ve submitted and the hard work is over! Stay in the loop about its journey. Curious about what unfolds next?

1️⃣ Curation

The beauty of working with Vidsy is that once you submit your videos, our in-house creative team handle any amends with the brand. Meaning no more client meets, feedback or last-minute changes.

We work with multiple creators on each campaign, bringing together a variety of concepts and creative styles. Once all videos are in, our team curates a diverse shortlist showcasing the strongest content for the client to review.

At this stage, we may polish or tweak your video, which is why submissions need to be fully editable.

2️⃣ Delivery to client

The final shortlisted videos are presented to the client for feedback, allowing ample time for the team to make any last-minute adjustments before handing over the final content to the brand.

3️⃣ Recommended Videos

Ever wondered how another creator may have interpreted the brief? Now you can see exactly that! Recommended Videos allows you to watch the strongest videos from other creators on your brief. We hope that, by seeing the variety of different interpretations and creative ideas, this will help you learn from and inspire each other for future work.

Videos that are selected for the Vidsy recommended shortlist will receive a bonus. This bonus amount will vary from brief-to-brief, depending on the creator payment, the number of videos being created, and the number of creators involved.

You can now access the shortlist for any of your previous briefs by heading to the Previous Briefs tab and clicking on any individual project.

What are the usage rights for my content?

Content created for Vidsy campaigns may be used across digital, social, advertising, and other channels by Vidsy or its distribution partners.

These rights are granted in perpetuity, meaning there’s no fixed end date for usage. This allows brands to continue using the content across their platforms and campaigns over time.

We know “in perpetuity” can sound big, but it’s standard for this type of performance-driven content and helps brands get long-term value from the assets created.

Good to know: Full usage rights details can always be found in the Performer Release agreement provided on the submission page when you've been invited to work on a brief.

Does Vidsy require rounds of revisions?

There are no rounds of revisions required at Vidsy 😊

Once you’ve submitted your content, your part is complete and our internal editing team will take it from there.

To make sure we can edit your content successfully, please ensure that you upload all required files. These files allow our team to make any necessary edits in-house without needing to come back to you.

Only in rare cases (such as if major requirements were missed) may our team request a reshoot. However, we always aim to avoid this wherever possible.

Can I see my finished content?

Unfortunately, once the content is passed over/owned by the client we are unable to provide you with the finished versions. However, we recommend using TikTok's or Meta's ad library to find your content in the wild!

Can I add my videos to my portfolio?

Whilst social media usage is not permitted, you're welcome to include your work in portfolios or behind password-protected websites. We'd just ask that you wait a few months after the campaign wraps before adding it to your portfolio.
