Which currency should I select for my payment?

We send payment in GBP, but thanks to Wise, you will receive the payment in whichever currency you specify in your payment settings.

You can only receive money in a specific currency if your bank account is located in the country associated with that currency.

For example, if you select USD as your preferred currency, you will only be able to withdraw that payment into a US bank account.

Please ensure you select a currency that reflects your bank account location.

What if my currency is missing?

If your currency isn’t listed in our payment settings and you don’t have an international bank account in an accepted currency, we recommend that you set up a Wise account.

Wise are an award-winning financial transfer service with over six million customers worldwide, and are successfully used by hundreds of Vidsy creators.

With Wise, you’ll establish an account to receive payments from Vidsy in GBP, using a UK sort code and account number. Once you receive Vidsy’s payment into your Wise account, you can easily transfer the money to your own bank account from there. Please ensure you specify GBP as your currency preference in your payment settings for this method.

Note: Occasionally, Wise won’t accept members from certain countries due to international restrictions. Please get in touch with Vidsy via the chat bubble (bottom right) if you have any issues and we’ll find a solution.
