How do I set up or change my bank account with Wise?

New to Wise? Here’s a quick recap!

We use Wise to send all creator payments - so you get paid quickly, securely, and with lower fees 🌍. No setup needed until your first payment is on the way.

Here's how it works:

  1. You'll receive an email from Wise when a payment is ready to claim.

  2. Follow the link and enter your preferred bank account details.

  3. Wise will send the payment straight to your account.

You’ll only need to do this once, and future payments are smooth sailing ✨ Just make sure the email linked to your Vidsy account is up to date, as that’s where payment notifications will be sent.


How do I set (or switch) my primary account in Wise?

When you receive your first payment from Wise, you can mark your bank account as your primary one in the Recipients tab. ✔️

Once it’s set, future payments will go straight to that account. No need to claim them via email each time, nice and easy!


How do I change the bank account details I specified as my primary account?

To change your bank account, log in to Wise (use your Vidsy email), head to Recipients, and find your current primary account. Simply uncheck the “primary account” box to remove it. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  • Log in to your Wise account with your Vidsy email address.

  • If needed, go through password reset by selecting "Forgot my password".

  • Go to the "Recipients" page, and find the bank details selected as "primary".

  • Unmark the primary account.

Next time you’re paid, you’ll be prompted via email to add new bank details. 👆
