When you accept a brief with Vidsy, you agree to confidentiality terms as per Clause 7 of our terms and conditions. This includes ALL information, including the brief information, the assets provided and the content you create, whether submitted or not. Confidentiality is an important element of working with Vidsy and Brands, and is taken very seriously.

Below are requirements and best practices to help you comply with Confidentiality T&Cs.

No sharing

You must keep ALL information and assets in strict confidence before, during and after the brief is complete. Under no circumstances can you share the brief information, assets or final content with anyone.

Use assets only for the brief

You can only use the assets and information provided for the sole purpose of completing the specific brief. You cannot use these assets for any other purpose, ever.

Do not showcase your work

All briefs you work on will be confidential, which means that you will not be able to share or display any content created without the written permission of Vidsy and the brand.

You won't be able to display work on your portfolio, any online portfolio, website, social media and any other form of display without permission.

This is one of the most important elements if you want to work with brands through Vidsy’s platform.

Delete all brand assets

You must completely delete all provided brand assets upon completion of the brief. This includes any videos not submitted etc.

You should keep an accurate record of all brand assets you use or have in your possession. You can then use this list to ensure you have deleted all brand assets in your possession once the brief is completed.

Keep your files organised and work separately from other projects to ensure you are able to delete all required assets and comply with our terms and conditions.

Always use passwords

All computers you work on and tools/software you use must be password protected to ensure no unauthorised access.

Aim for passwords of at least twelve characters, including a letter, number, and symbol. At a minimum you should aim to change passwords every 90 days.

You can use 2FA to provide extra security and you should ensure you have antivirus protection and firewalls installed, or equivalent for greater security.
