A Performer Release is a permission form that must be signed by everyone who appears in your content, including you. This helps ensure that each person featured has agreed to take part and understands how the content will be used.

Who needs to sign one? โœ๏ธ

Every person who appears in your video needs to sign a Performer Release, regardless of how much screen time they have.

That includes:

  • You ๐Ÿ™‹

  • Friends or family members ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

  • Anyone else who appears on camera ๐Ÿ“น

Legally, we refer to these individuals as "Contributors".

โœ… Good to know: Youโ€™ll be able to submit your Performer Release electronically when working on a Vidsy brief.

What if I can't access DocuSign or I'm working off-platform? ๐Ÿ“„

If you're unable to open the DocuSign form or you're working with us off-platform, you can download and complete the template form.

Just email community@vidsy.co to let us know which brief you're working on, and we'll provide the Vidsy Brief Reference and Vidsy Brief Name fields for you to complete.

You should then fill in the following fields:

  • Contributor's Name ("Contributor")

  • Contributor's Email

  • Signed By

  • Contributor Date Signed

Once completed, send the signed form back to the Community team and we'll take care of the rest ๐Ÿ‘
