When you work on a CGC brief with Vidsy, you’ll need to sign two types of legal form, which grant Vidsy the right to feature your performer and location in the content.
When you work on a CGC brief, we'll invite you to sign the forms electronically as part of the process. All you need to do is follow the steps within the brief itself.
The two legal forms we need from you
A Performer Release Form
This needs to be signed by every performer that features in your content, even if it's you. This is so we can make sure that that person has given their permission and understands what the content will be used for.
Legally, we refer to performers as “Contributors”.
A Location Release Form
This needs to be signed by the owner of every private location featured in your content, such as restaurants, shops, gyms, train stations or your own home. You do not need a location release for public spaces such as parks.
