How do I keep my profile up-to-date?

Quick check: is your profile still you, or a slightly older version of you?

Written by Tiyana Henriques

Your profile is how we get to know you, and with our new application tool now live, it's doing more work than ever. When you apply for projects (and when we go looking for the right creators for a brief), your profile is the first thing we see. If it's out of date, you might miss out on work that's a perfect fit.

So consider this your friendly nudge: take five minutes, log in, and make sure everything is accurate.

First things first, let’s get to your profile. You can update it via your profile settings...

What profile info do you collect?

We'd love to know:

  • Your gender.

  • Your age.

  • Your race/ethnicity.

  • The languages you speak.

  • Your hair type & colour (for all those haircare briefs!).

  • If you have any tattoos and piercings

  • The locations and settings you can regularly film in

  • Whether you're able to feature children, pets and small businesses

  • The style of content you love to film.

✅ Good to know: Completing this survey helps us match you with the right opportunities and send you more relevant briefs.

How do I keep my profile up to date?

1️⃣ Update your primary location

This should always reflect your current location (where you are right now). It's one of the biggest factors in matching you to projects, especially as many briefs are country-specific and ensures product are getting delivered to your correct address.

A couple of things worth knowing:

  • If you've moved, update your address! A profile that still says you're in your old city means you could be shown for the wrong opportunities (or missed for the right ones).

  • Travelling or heading abroad? If you want to be considered for opportunities while you're away, set your location to the country you'll be in. Just remember to switch it back when you return home!

🧠 Remember: You’ll be asked to submit your address each time you apply for a CGC brief, so make sure it’s up to date for the campaign timeline.

2️⃣ Share life changes:

We understand that people change and learn new things so your profile should grow with you. The more we know, the better we can match you to briefs that actually suit you. So if anything's changed, let us know:

  • New family members – welcomed a baby, got a new puppy, moved in with a partner? These can open up whole new categories of content you're suddenly well placed to make.

  • New skills or styles – picked up editing, learned to shoot on a new format, leaned into a niche? Don't be shy, add it!

  • New interests or hobbies – brands love authenticity, and a genuine passion can be exactly what a brief calls for.

Life events are a great prompt to come back and refresh the picture we have of you.
