CGC Content Upload Checklist

Here’s a simple guide on exactly what files to upload to complete your CGC brief ✨

This is your hero video. It should feel complete, true to the brief, and reflective of your creativity.

Make sure it is:

Think of this as a more flexible version of the final edit. A clean edit is a duplicate of the final video with fewer baked‑in elements so we can adapt your content if needed.

This version should always come without:

We only ask you to share supporting files when they’re genuinely needed. Supporting files are all the shots you used within the edit. This usually applies if your edit includes elements such as a creative animation or a split screen, with the footage giving us the flexibility for future edits.

B‑roll are all the extra shots that didn’t make the cut. This content can be really helpful when we’re creating alternate edits. If your brief asks for it, you may be asked to share:

To keep the upload process smooth, please keep these files under 10GB.

To keep your content compliant and to make sure that we can accept it, we need you to complete 2️⃣ release forms:

1️⃣ Performer Release Form

A performer release is needed for everyone featured in your content, even if it’s only yourself. This is so we can guarantee that the performer featured has given their permission and feels comfortable with what the content will be used for.

2️⃣ Location Release Form

A location release is required if you've featured a private location in your content such as your local shop, gym or even your own home!

Once everything’s submitted, we’ll review it and be in touch if anything else is missing or needed.
